That’s a great link shug gave you. I started there, too, just about a week ago. I’ve ordered and received everything I need to make my UQ, but haven’t started cutting the fabric yet. As the article states, it’s a good idea to get some super cheap stuff first. You can cut it, sew it, dart it, whatever… no worries. I’ve got mine mocked up in muslin right now. At $ .99 a yard, it was well worth the practice run.
