    Nemo sept 2012

I do this circuit a couple of times a year but i haven't been out much this year so this was the first time this year. I had great weather, low to mid seventies temp., almost nobody around, home made chocolate from a paddler i bumped into. I'm always taken aback at how beautiful the Nemo Falls area is. Its like another world in that forest with all the thick moss and moisture in the air. I stopped by a small hemlock grove, thought Hawkeye might like to see how his favorites are doing (-; , and otherwise just relaxed making lunch and feeling happy. With all this beautiful fall weather i hope to get out some more before rains come. Can't do my normal write up as i seem to have lost access to Photobucket but i can provide a slideshow via Flickr.

    Enjoy

Great looking spot. Y'all are killing me with the kayak camping. I've had one for years and have never tried it. Looks like I'm going to have to give it a go.
Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!

    Great pictures, Bill.

Incredibly flat water and calm day for your trip. Despite the awesome scenery I missed seeing a hammock in your pictures.

    Cheers

Thanks for the compliments everyone. All i do is get out there and snap some pics. Its gorgeous on its own. This was a day trip. Body felt pretty good for third time out this year even tho i forgot my seat pad. It actually forced me to have a better forward stroke to relieve back soreness i'd been having. I had wished i'd taken overnight stuff as weekend plans changed when i got back and ,,,,such is life. Going to get back this week sometime.

FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.
