    Red River Gorge Dayhike

Well I decided to go on a dayhike down to the Rock Bridge area of red River Gorge on 10/4. Had a great time I took my skeeter beeter pro and my lab/border collie mix out for the first time. Although a few of the trails there were closed due to a forest fire started by someone not putting out their campfire completely, this did not affect the area I was in.
This is a place i used to go to with my family when i was a kid, so with all the hussle and bussle of the working world I decide to go to my favorite spot for a nice relaxing time in the wilderness.
I hiked down to the falls just above the bridge and since we haven't had much rain it was pretty much just a trickle. Then I finally made it to Rock Bridge(1st and 2nd photos). As I was walking around by the bridge I decided to go up the hill a little ways to a campsite and hang my hammock to take a nice long relaxing nap before heading home. It was probably the most relaxing 3 hours away from home in awhile.

The Red has some of the best rock climbing to be had in the southeast. I'm jealous of you for living so close - it's a multi-hour drive for me to head up there.

Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.
