Experts are the ones who think they know everything. Geniuses are the ones who know they don't.
You need seek no rocky summit, for these high places are within you.
I've been gearing up to do some winter camping with the hammock, picked an UQ and TQ. I'm just not sure where i want to head. any suggestions?
Hey, I'm in Philly and can advise you on all the good spots to hang within the city limits...of course, we have a huge inner-city forest, but even in parks and other public spots, you can find great hammocking. I.e. Belmont Plateau, along the Schuylkill banks, Clark Park, for starters.
Would love to hear some of your favorite places to hang.
Hi all, I'm also from Philly, well, Upper Darby and it might as well be Philly.
I'm a total noob as far as hammocking goes, but getting there. For the last month or so I have been taking a bike ride to some local bike trails by the creek and set up my eno doublenest & noah kely and have a nice bag lunch. I have a trip coming up soon and looking forward to not being in a tent for a change, and need the practice setting up and taking down the hammock.
I've been gearing up to do some winter hammocking. I convinced a couple friends of mine that camping in the winter would be more of a challenge and so I have them gearing up as well but they are mostly ground dwellers.
We'll have to work on getting together to check out gear and do some hanging.
