As a pastor I used to help the ladies of the church sew costumes for Christmas pageants and Passion Plays. We'd always have a full house for those events.
Now I can cobble together my UQ with materials due to arrive today.
Next stop, silnylon tarp!

SWEET! I learned on my Mom's 247;she still uses it. Do you have the manual for it? If so read up a little bit on it, there are a few things that aren't obvious. Like the top knob is for the presser foot pressure and the bobbin style is also not a common style. I don't remember exactly which style but I don't think it is the common class 15.
