Went to JoAnn's since they had a sale on ripstop and decided to practice a little before my hammock and uq kits arrived from ripstopbytheroll. Simple 10ft gathered end the hem is double stitched and the channel is a 2 inch double roll. Sorry about the messy needle work my 2 year old kept pulling on the fabric.

Hey, That looks like it is stretched like a rubber band. Sit down gently the first time or you may bounce out.
I've sat in it already. I like mine tight I feel like I get flatter on the diag. The wife and I were and to sit in it. I'm 175 and she's 105 so I know it holds up to 280.
