I just got my first hammock and need a tarp.

The title sums it up. I got a wbbb 1.1 and need a tarp. Right now I'm between walmart cheapo and HH hex_rainfly_70d_polyester for $69.

Does anyone have something used? I'm motorcycle camping so weight isn't a huge issue I would like it to pack down and keep me dry.

    Thanks!

    HH Hex

For the money and durability, buy the Hennessy. It will keep you, and your sfuff, warm and dry.

Since you aren't too worried about weight, I've heard great things about the Kelty tarps. Also the Chinook tarps have good ratings.

    I love my WL Tadpole.

Check out bushcraft outfitters and their 10x10 with multiple tie outs for $60.

Moto, I highly suggest that 12x12 guide gear for a great beginner tarp for the money. Forget the beginner thing its a great tarp in general. Lots of coverage and flexibility.

I've got a HH Hex 70d rain fly I may consider selling. It's practically brand new. Only been in the woods once. Let me know if you're interested.

Thanks for all the replies! I though I had found the perfect option I found a Chinook sand on Amazon for $42 and was just going to order it and today the price is $52.

I'm going to look again and will get back to people with used options directly.

Thanks again and if something was over looked that is a good option please post it up.

    Thanks again
