That is the wonderful HF folks here for ya. Doing such awesome giving and asking nothing in return. That is why I love this site.

    I love this place!
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.

I volunteer much of my time with boy scouts, and I work to instill values of kindness and generosity in those scouts. I can tell you that over the past 2 years on HF, I have seen that same sense of responsibility to others. It has made me feel genuinely at home here. Glad, but not surprised, to hear others feel the same way.

It wouldn't be the first time.

In fact.....I've checked my Pay Pal activity and I don't see anything remotely resembling anything that might pass for HF membership.

Who ever is responsible...thank you. I've been enjoying the additional info, and yes it is well worth the cost. Heck the Members section is where Babelfish5 hangs out, when he's not making videos. Probably worth the price of admission right there......if you like to carry light and eat well on the trail.

Question Redirected to Donating Members Section?

Its great that somebody anonymous saw that you were in need and helped you out. Definately good people around here.

But what kind of question from a relative newcomer is directed back to the donating members section? It seems to me, that ANY question someone might have about hammocking should be a question that all of us can see, respond to, or learn from.

That's the problem. It wasn't a hammock question, it was a stove question.
We try to keep the public forums strictly focused on the good stuff: hammocks.
