I am fairly new to this, I got 19 nights outdoors since June. The temps are dropping down here so I will get at least 2 more this week in the backyard, hopefully 3. MUCH more than when I was a ground dweller. Someone on here stated it best... I never thought about putting up my tent to take a nap. I have taken many naps not counted here and I would have never set up the tent in the backyard for an overnighter. So as a ground dweller I would be lucky to get 12-16 nights a year.

well i dont feel quite so bad about not getting out that often now :-P hopefully ill be able to get out a little more, at least in the backyard, soon since it will be starting to cooler
Wow, you guys hang alot more than I do--I feel pretty good about hanging once or twice a month! I need to step up my game!
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )
