    After five straight days in it I find it solid as a rock when laying down. When sitting up say to reach the Spindrift zipper....not so much....but really, that's the nature of all hammocks. When you roll to the edge of the hammock the reinforced edges bring you to a complete halt...very stable. I in fact tried to push it a little to see what would happen and it just seems to lock in place once you reach the edge. In the kayak world we call that secondary stability and the Ridgerunner has plenty.
