There are objectionable posts on this forum?

This is the tamest forum on the Web, as far as I know (which ain't much). People are pretty well-behaved here. A good chunk of the comments to news articles on http://www.bellinghamherald.com are ignorant, assinine and mean. I can't believe they allow some of these comments to remain on a mainstream newspaper. http://www.telemarktips.comTeleTalk Forum gets racy, but you know how alterna-skiers try to be. People can get pretty bitter on http://www.nwhikers.net, especially the Stewardship forum.

I really didn't mean to imply that objectionable posts were a big problem here. The disemvoweling solution simply came up in conversation, and I thought that it might be helpful for our overworked, unpaid moderators. Honestly, I've been in crowds of people who are much harsher face-to-face than this group generally is online!

sigh... all my paranoia was wasted..... oh well... just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they _aren't_ out to get you...
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.
