Cheers guys, I'm very happy with how it turned out (all thanks to this forum), and was quite surprised when I first zipped it up from inside and there was no loud ripping noise!
I have something similar to that tag Beast, it's attached to the back of my head torch (I still lose the stupid thing), finding the zip pull isn't a problem (although I'm a sucker for magical luminous things so I'll be buying some), it's that I once woke up with my heels supported by bugnet rather than ripstop, but couldn't tell what was wrong til I switched my headtorch on. Black on black with a dark green tarp as a background just made things hard to see.
I could make the next one (oh, the madness) with tighter edges on the ripstop, but the edges the way they are maximise the width of the sleeping area. It's not a major issue, I'll probably get used to it, either that or my feet will go through the bugnet one night and I'll get eaten by the dreaded Scottish midgies.
Looks really nice!

Looks very, very nice. Great job, and it looks like the DIY bug has really bitten you.
