Any Advantage to Ordering a tarp at the same time?

I'm switching from an open hammock to the WB/BB - I'm emailing with Brandon right now about my options on blemished ones (I'm totally fine with one that's not perfect, it's going camping for crissakes).

Is there any advantage in ordering a tarp at the same time or ordering one from them at all? I like the look of the MJ, and obviously it'll get shipped as a package so I only have to pay shipping once. Does anyone have a tarp they like better with a Blackbird than the MJ?

I've just started doing some longer backpacking trips and do eventually (on the soonish) want to start section hiking the AT tentless, so I'd rather have the right equipment that will pack well than futz with it (if possible).

    Any input would be appreciated!

aside from the shipping charge of two orders compared to one, we also have some promo deals (see our promotions section). the most common is buying a hammock and tarp together in one order which qualifies you for a 10$ rebate...just email me after order is placed and request the rebate and i'll credit it back to your credit card. we have other promotions as well

Forget about the discounts and the shipping savings. The real benefit is not having to wait by the mailbox for the 'other' piece of gear to arrive. You'll be ordering more tarps and hammocks anyway (trust me on this), so my vote would be to go ahead and get them both. It will get you out on the trail faster.
