welcome to planet earth no one gets out alive
where does one acquire this permethrin?
Arguing with an engineer is like wrestling a pig in the mud. Your not going to win, and after a while you realize the pig is enjoying it.
REI usually has some spray permethrin for clothes and nets. There are dip kits that are labeled for clothes & nets, but some folks are diluting permethrin labeled for livestock use from Tractor Supply Company or other farm supply stores as an off-label use.

Look at BedBug chemicals in the grocery or drugstore or some such place that sells antipest stuff. They use permethrin in these solution.

I bought the bottle of Permethrin-10 I have many years ago, from a website that no longer exists, manufactured by a company (ProTech) that apparently no longer exists.
This stuff on Amazon from Durvet looks to be the equivalent of what I'm using. My bottle is almost done so I'll probably buy this, at $24 for 32 oz.

FYI - mix with water in the amounts/ratios prescribed. You don't want to use this stuff straight up.
