Hammock Sock?

I see that warbonnet hammocks is offering a hammock sock with their ridgeline bridge hammock and will increase the warmth by 10 to 15 degrees. What about a conventional hammock with a hammock sock? Has anybody tried this?

Socks work very well with all hammocks. You will, however, give up your picture window on the world.

Do a search on hammock socks...you'll still be reading come supper.

we have a sock for the bblackbird and traveler models too. the "travel sock"

I'll be attempting a half sock as soon as the DWR ripstop arrives from DIY Gear. Will pair it with the UQ protector I already have and see if I can come up with a workable modular system.
