As I was reading through this I was beginning to wonder if it was english as nothing made sense. The pictures are well worth more than a thousand words. I now see the light. Ideas are a formin.

Might be the southern accent. Yeah, wish that I had the skills to do a video, they are worth a million words.

Spent 3 nights putting the system thru it's paces last weekend. No problems encountered.

Buried end loops! Need pics, please. Trying to mentally visualize. MADD777 said something about UCR's this past weekend while checking out my system and I must admit that I didn't go that far back when exploring the single line suspension (SLS). Time to go back to the beginning, we may be playing with something that has already been covered. That's my facsination with the forum, how an idea grows among the fertile minds of the members.

The newborn is sucking all my time! Made an end loop with Dutch hook inside it and then buried into the sls 8" and did a short bury back on itself to keep it from pulling through. I hope my math was right! Should allow some trap hammock deportation in good weather and a close fit in bad.

Make sure to inspect your line before you use it, this came from the store like this apparently... grr have to remake it now though it's only 1 strand.

Yes more weight but so much faster and I do love titanium.

Not needed if you use short straps and just larks head it, but I like the option of hanging close if needed since my SLS is setup to have a minimum hang of just shorter than my 12ft tarp.

Regular whoopie with an added prussic (changing it to a klemetz (sp)) originally I was going to do another buried whoopie with a tension-er attached but realized it would make my overall length too long and this lets me play with it some.

2" separate the end of the whoopie burry and the end of the hammocks end loop burry.

Here you can see the end of the whoopie on the far end and the hammock end loop whoopie in my hand.

Make sense? Will definitely have time tomorrow if not today to hang it for realz.

Gordonfreeman, any chance we can get to see your set up with hammock attached?
