I'm looking for a 3/4 length (torso) underquilt that could get me down to 30 degrees. Does anyone sale them?

Not really. Warbonnetguy sold one model for a while, but has been looking for a new insulation supplier.
Perhaps you could modify an existing design, or contact one of the members that does sewing-for-hire.

who on here does sewing for hire?
Contact mikeinfhaz. He may do it.
I believe you could modify mine pretty easily. Just move the bottom corners of the plan up the sides to the length you want.

this makes me curious, along with the other thread about shell colors- as to what dimensions we can agree would be "3/4" length..
i have a quilt that measures 40x55 with 3" differential baffles overstuffed to 4" loft. It is used on my bridge hammock and may work on a gathered end style, since the baffles run vertically to my body. while lying flat, it covers my head and goes down to my knees. Ive been calling it a 2/3 quilt but 3/4 may be more descriptive.
Im also thinking of making a quilt with gray ripstop inner, and olive silnylon outer (which will block water, dew, and fog but without limiting loft)
Sherpaxc, let me know if you are interested in learning more.
well im thinking with differential baffles, gravity will act to help the down loft up even tho the breathable side is against the hammock. It will IMO still be able to loft since the ripstop on the hammock is also breathable. I think the problem of the sil being a vapor barrier is likely not an issue. I would have to test it in severe humid conditions, which we dont have here... nor do we have much rain. So this would obviously suit someone else better than it would suit me.
