    TQ/UQ combo with zipper?

Is anybody making a top/underquilt combo that zips up around a hammock? For sale I mean? I've seen pictures, but seems they're all DIY. I appreciate the pointers.

+1 for the peapod if we understand you right Or are you thinking of a combo that zips on the sides that you can remove top or bottom?

That's it. I'd seen that before of course, just wasn't thinking I guess. Do you suppose that'd fit over my WBBB?

The bug-netting on the BlackBird may interfere with getting a proper fit with a peapod. An open hammock works the best in my opinion.
I use a sleeping bag around mine supplemented with a light UQ and a light TQ. I can sleep out well in Sub 0º so it works well.

What Shug said is true. I would even add that a peapod works best with hammocks that don't have high walls on the sides. Some long or wide hammocks have a lot of excess material causing air Pockets to form making it harder for you to heat up a bigger space. In a pod you want all the dead space filled as much as possible for maximum warmth.
