Webbing & Rings

What size do you all use for your suspension lines. I am getting ready to change a couple of hammocks to ring and webbing's and want your opionions on this before I order them.

After seeing NEO's I thought it was easier to put up hammock that way and thought I might do this to a couple of my hammocks before I do that to the Clarks.

The SMC rings are 1.5 inch ID. I use 1" webbing. I also will use 1.5" ID welded steel rings although they don't grip the webbing as nicely as the SMC rings but they are way cheaper and way heavier.

I use the same 1.5" SMC rings and Speer's 1" webbing. Then I switched to cords instead of webbing, and use Spectra cord with the garda hitch on the SMC rings.

I never had a problem with the rings and webbing, but some people feel safer with the cinch buckles on the webbing. Might wanna look at those as well.

I use aluminum rings from Sling Rings (the Small rings have a 2" ID) They are quite a bit cheaper than SMC rings and are sold by the pair to begin with, not individually as with other rings.

I use 1" polypro webbing.
