    I'm in love...

Finally got a chance to stretch the leg bones a bit and set up my new Lawson Blue Ridge for the first time. Me and the hog dog rolled out early this am and road marched to a local park area a couple miles away. I was worried about it being topsy turvy and not long enough but both turned out false and as I lay there gently rocking back and forth I thought I was back in my mommas arms. :0) Here are a few pics along the Monon Trail a converted railroad track and the new ham hock

That looks COOL. Looks like a really flat lay. I like to look out from the hammock and that one looks like you have an all around view. I like how the bugnet stays away from you. Do you still need an underquilt at night with this one?

Yes spaciousness for sure which helps with any clausterphobianism one might have with the rain cover on. I haven't slept in it yet (I share a backyard with about 200 other people) but I imagine its as cold as any hammock...one thing about it that will come in handy for me is that it can also be used as...dare I say ...A TENT! just in case I find myself somewhere with nothing to hang from

Wow! That's a sky tent! I hadn't seen one before.
And, I love the Mexican blanket; adds just the right amount of PIZZAZZ!

It needs an underquilt. I have a Blue Ridge Camping Hammock (since 2003) and when the temperature drops below 70, your back will get pretty cold.

Don't argue with the alligator until after you cross the river.

    Si...Mexican Flying Carpet...

As I was adjusticating the thing this guy comes walking through the woods with an extremely white fluffy dog and he looked at me like I was out of place? He asked me if I had spent the night there and I could tell in his voice that he was appalled at even the thought of it, I said "no just got it,trying it out" ...no Ranger Ricks showed up so I guess he bought it. Then just as I was getting ready to leave another guy came through with 3 dogs off leash and one jumps on Dumas before he can get a hold of him but luckily no damage was done.

Love the hammock but I really thought the shadow shot of you and your dog was very nice. Thanks for posting it was an enjoyable read.

That looks so comfortable! Looks like it'd even be a great indoor/permanent bed hammock. What is the weight limit?
