    Summer Series Under Quilt

Really love this quilt, slept warm last night down to 39* in breezy conditions. Used a 15* down bag, thin summer cotton/poly workout pants and a single cotton/poly thermal shirt. Look forward to seeing how low this 10 oz. wonder will go. Oh the tarp was a small diamond and high and open.

Nothing but love for this product.

Did yours come with super short shock cord suspension? I just got two of them and they both have really short suspension. I usually run the suspension up over the gathered ends of my hammock. But these are too short to do that. I had to add cord to do it..

Though the suspension is snug, it's long enough for the 108" HH EXP UL. I have considered lengthening it though. I've also considered putting smaller shock cord in or a section of lash-it with shock cord on the ends.

Performance update, it got down to 33* last night, same set up as in the OP but added a synthetic mock turtleneck T-shirt and had to supplement with a fleece jacket due to cold spots on my back ~ 2 am.

Gotta say it's a great product that performs better than advertised.

Have you considered adding a reflective sheet between the UQ and hammock? That may help get rid of the cold spots. Sounds like a great UQ, sure does look sweet.

Yes I have, I started a thread asking about others success combinations with quilts and space blankets, I plan to purchase one of the better ones from REI. And and thinking about a down vest or jacket as an additional layer of down for the quilt.

I love the volume of the quilt and it's light weight. So glad I won it, I doubt I would have bought one this year and would have likely experimented with pads.

Yep WL makes a quality product.

Nice win!!!! WL makes some great stuff. I think your down vest or jacket will help a lot. I love them for added warmth and multi-use.
