Looks like I got things worked out and got the weekend off.
It will be my first time hanging in such cold weather, but should be a good test to the new underquilt I picked up from Boulderman. I will use a down sleeping bag for my upper insulation as I do not have a TQ yet. I have both a WBBB and HH with me, and still working out the details for what to bring/make for the pot luck.
I am excited to see the new WBRR too, after reading so much about it.
May have to pick one up for my self after this weekend.
WARBONNETGUY any chance you will have some hammocks up there for sale? lol
Thanks for setting this up everyone.
Alan
edit: just heard from my girlfriend that she may make it up Saturday to hang out if everyone is okay with dogs coming up. She can not spend the night at all, and neither will the dogs.
dogs include one 3 year old super calm/well trained Anatolian Shepherd (was bit by another dog recently so he can be a lil stand offish at first to new dogs but won't hurt anything)
and a 5mo german shepherd that is well trained (for her age) and does well with dogs. she does have lots of energy but is good with people and dogs.

Genuine Draft and her son (who I'm either 'naming' "Moocher" or "Freeloader") are about 90% in. It will be Saturday afternoon before we all make it up, since there are some work commitments to get around.
Trust nobody!
if anybody wan't me to bring something that they want to see or try just shoot me an email
The plan is for my wife and I to come up for the day Saturday. I have a gig at WT Shorty's Friday night so I won't be up bright-and-early Saturday. We plan to drive over the pass from Georgetown to take in what's left of the changing colors and "hang" with ya'all for the afternoon.
Looking forward to meeting everyone!
Dave

Where ever you go, there you are?
Are there a goup of site numbers for the group hang. I am coming a long way and will probably leave Thursday and camp on the way so likely will arrive early Friday afternoon, likely before those of you who have to work.
I am contemplating a purchase of a Blackbird prior to my PCT hike next spring so it would be great if Warbonnetguy had one of those at the hang.
I don't remember the site numbers and can't (quickly) find a site map online, but it really won't be a problem since we'll be the only group there.
The campground is basically a big loop with one entrance/exit road. The best sites for our group tend to be near the top of the loop, when viewed from the entrance/exit road. Opposite end of the camp from the privy structure.
Edit: For some reason, I keep thinking site #14. Not sure if it's a valid thought, but if you get there and see that site number near the top of the loop, you're in the right area.
Trust nobody!
Note to self: Time to get packed. Be not procrastinating. Do it. now!
Just moved from Colorado to Arkansas or I'd be in for certain.
