    Dr. Bonners

I have heard great things about using Dr. Bonners soap when on multi-night camping/backpacking trips. The problem is, I can't find it locally (Huntsville, AL) area.

I may not be looking at the right stores or in the right places, SO if you use this, where do you buy it and how much is it?

Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.

Health food stores, pharmacies, lots of places carry it. I buy mine from Amazon.

I get Dr. Bronner's from my local Target, but I'm in CA--the further west you get the easier it is to find hippie-gear

    32 oz for $17.00
    16 oz for $11.00

Some of the other places may sell even smaller sizes, and I have seen travel-sized bottles in the travel bins at Target before, but it was hit and miss (plus I use enough to justify the bigger bottles).

Lots of different kinds, but I still prefer good ole peppermint.
You're gonna need a bigger hammock

I have looked at Target and didn't see it - which is what led me to post this question.

Is it with the rest of the bath soap or in a different area?

    Thanks for the help!

Dr. Bonners in the best soap, eco friendly, a million uses, and doesn't dry skin. Just a dab will do ya, the large bottle will last forever. It get peppermint and feel the tingle.
Hammocking, car camping, backpacking, kayaking, and mountain biking. Getting in touch with nature is getting expensive. Good thing I can DIY!

    Ahhh the tingle.

It's what I have in my guest shower and I told my nephew to try it recently when he was visiting. He remarked a little wide-eyed about the tingle.

I use it every day. I kind of forgot to warn him. Kind of...

Use mine everday as well - tea tree and peppermint! Have found it locally and on Amazon.

I'm pretty sure there are either some camping stores, or some outfitters, or some sporting goods stores with camping departments in the Huntsville Alabama area - most of the ones around here carry Dr. Bonner's soaps

I've been using it off and on since the early 70's ... mighty good stuff! REI carries it as well.
