The WarBonnet BlackBird is a great hammock. I find myself camping much more often since I bought mine.

I also believe that Warbonnet has a UK distributor as well. UKHammocks and DD are also out your way.

Warbonnet Black Bird or Traveler 1.1 dbl, I love mine so comfy.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

Another option is the Hennessy Deep Jungle (up to 180cm) http://hennessyhammock.com/catalog/s...ngle_asym_zip/

or Deep Jungle XL (up to 213cm) http://hennessyhammock.com/catalog/s...e_asym_zip_xl/

Here is a thread on Hennessy http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ead.php?t=5462

I was gonna say Warbonnet Blackbird (WBBB), but I was beaten to the punch.

If you camp in buggy areas get the WBBB, you'll like the bug net. If you're a super light weight hiker or camp where there are no bugs get a Traveler. If you think you might ever us a pad get a double layer in the 1.1oz. materiel otherwise a 1.9oz. single is lighter and should work fine (check my math because I'm not a metric guy). The WBBB has a shelf and a foot box and it's a very comfy durable hammock I love mine.

The webbing suspension uses straps through a buckle to adjust the hammock. It is simple and straight forward, it is the best design I've ever used. I don't know much about the rope suspension, just that it's lighter. Welcome to the forums.

I have the webbing suspension and chose it because it can be adjusted easier after setting it up. the rope suspension you tie knots. they go the webbing and rope suspension in there setup section http://warbonnetoutdoors.com/setup.php
