I'm starting to see the merits of a SLS. I haven't had time to experiment on my stuff yet but I have been weighing the pros and cons.
A comment in another thread mentioned that some places are requiring tree straps on tarp suspensions as well as on the hammock suspension. In a situation like that a SLS would eliminate the need for 2 sets of tree straps. I haven't seen this mentioned before - sorry if I missed it - but it seems like another point in favor of a SLS.
