I am really great at hiking with dogs, but that may because we are literally tied to each other. Thanks for watching dude!

Will you find him? Did he enjoy his time alone?........ Looking forward to the continuation of the Thru.

It's beautiful out there. I hope you get out next week and get to see those fall colors. I took your advice and stayed at Horseshoe Ridge too. Great campsite, although I'm pretty sure I heard the smoke monster from "Lost" there.

If you're not totally worn out, how about a hike in NC next month?
I'm strangely not tired at all after the hike, but work calls. Thanks for watching and hope to see you again at the next FBH.

I love a good Fronkey vid!

So were the wolf and three bear cubs hanging out together? Playing poker?

Losing your cousin is nothing, my dad and uncle lost a foreign exchange student in the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone once. Luckily, found him sitting by the trail an hour or so later. International incident avoided.

Could there be more perfect musical scoring than that caterpillar sequence?
I will be breaking my recent ruling that I can not open hammock forums until I have earned a mid-morning coffee break. Great video, Fronkey. Caleb, you are a brave grasshopper.
My friend is a composer and wrote that song specifically for my videos. So, now I have my own theme music. I'm really happy to hear you like it and thanks so much for watching.

Good to see you back man! Hope the hike went well, the cuz is still alive and you had a good time. That's some crazy mileage you put on. Waiting on the sequel.

    Cheers!
There is a difference between "Fronkey" and "Trevor." You'll see what I mean in part 2. Thanks for tuning in.

Thanks a lot man. It's not like I let a 10 year old hike solo after all.

It very well is going to be the coolest and most dangerous hammock trip report ever. Is that a teaser enough for you.

They were playing Blackjack. The wolf always won. The student was smart to stay still. I unfortunately didn't have that happen in my situation. Thanks for watching.

    Whoooo Fronkey!

That was a superb part 1, like all of us, eagerly awaiting part 2...

Part one was filled with humor (and humour), suspense (loosing and looking for Caleb) and action... men do you run through the woods or what.

My 'watch later list' on YT is almost empty so.... hurry

HOT DOG! This is going to be GREAT! Part one was fantastic, a sick doggy, a lost buddy, a pink hammy and a heck of a lot of miles clocked up. It’s hard to believe part two could get any better. Thanks for the really well edited together video, Fronkey!

    Before I forget...

Fronkey, where did you get the material for the hot pink hammock? The girlfriend would come out with me a lot more if she had one of those.

never met Holly but now I KNOW I'd like that girl. Anyone that can give it to you like that Fronkey...

Cameo appearance by Mr. Green. GREEN!

Brave or foolish kid to make a thru-hike of the SHT his first backpacking adventure. Braver or more foolish to do it "following" you!

If the "loosing Caleb" thing is for real, I can imagine the sinking feeling you had. Perhaps someday you will get to re-experience with a child of your own who disappears in the {mall, theme park, woods behind house} ... you met the source of ALL of those anxieties...
