never been there but ill have a good map and a good light.if the trail is anything like the wilderness or the berryman trail it should be a clear trail.let me look the map over and check for intersecting trails.could you get there before dark?

hey cb4 do you plan on using the o t as way to get to the bell mountain and if so what direction are you taking the loop clock wise or counter.

Yes, we'll take the OT from the hwy A trailhead to the Bell Mt loop, then stay right to begin the loop counter clockwise. The peak is less than half way around the loop from there.
With beauty all around you, may you walk.

Be careful if you decide to night-hike. There's lots of loose rock to twist an ankle on.

yes the berryman was the same way i think its the horse travel that makes them so loose.i dont think you will need the pad but thats your call i would bring it in case something happened ,but the mount washington u q is of fine quality it should serve you well it has me.we will see what the trails like if we get a ways in and decide to hang there because of the loose trail ,no harm id feel safer in the woods than hanging in the parking lot.thanks for the heads up cb4.oh by the way get your booo hisss responce ready ,but id like to see it snow.i guess i shouldnt have said that i can see a group snow ball asault if it does.yeah yeah thats right it was gidean that wanted snow yeah thats right.lol
