Missouri Hang Trip report

We had 6 hangers plus 2 visitors from the board gather together at Meramec State Park's Wilderness Trail.
We hiked in about a mile to the campsite where we set up our gear, then trekked out to the short loop (5 miles).
We saw temps of 70* that day, and 37* that night. Some gear modifications are probably being made right now!
Some of us hiked directly out the next morning, some hiked the entire loop instead.
The weather was beautiful, the trail was nice, and the company was interesting! Look out for the Missouri Hang 2 thread if you want to join us!

Back to your trip report thread. It was a little cool and frosty here in KC. The other happening I was torn from was a model airplane flyin in Iowa where Saturday morning all the planes were coated with frost. But that didn't matter much here because my grand-daughter was over with her puppy so Mom and Dad could go to the hospital early Monday morning.
