A bummer with a happy ending

I purchased a tarp that was posted for sale on the forum and never received it. I contacted the seller several times and never got a response. I was planning to use the tarp on mike upcoming AT hike on the 7th. I contacted Warbonnet during the week with a simple question "If I order a Mamajamba Tarp on the 28th, would I have it in time for my Oct 7th hike. Brandon emailed me back a short time later with this response.

"yes, just email me right afterwards and remind me what your deadline is and I'll make a note next to your order and make sure it's shipped in time"

Warbonnet now has another happy customer to add to their growing list.

    Thanks Brandon for the help.

I'm happy to hear your final plan worked out. Brandon does great work. I pray you get the issue with the other tarp resolved. I hope he didn't get your money, and you didn't get the tarp.

My Mamajamba is on it's way. I want to thank Brandon again for the great service. I've already started making a list of items that I'll be purchasing in the near future.

I'm a little puzzled. The person who sold you the tarp only had 26 posts. I thought you needed 50 posts to sell stuff.

Glad Brandon took care of you and I hope you get your money back.

I was thinking the same, but couldn't remember if that was just for the PIF, or the "for sale" in general.

I looked it up. Looks like the mods missed this one. I thought the 50-post thing was software-enforced but it appears to be mod-enforced.

We didn't miss it. That was before the 50-minimum. It was 15 minimum at the time.

FWIW, seller lost FS privileges. PayPal dispute should give fishbait his refund.
