the worst thing is not having every clip, biner, knot skill, suspension, tarp UQ and TQ at your disposal! Also it gets expensive, can't wait to transition to DIY

The worst part for me - as someone who is looking to get into hammocking but doesn't own one - is CHOOSING which hammock to get in the first place!
Choosing a tent really doesn't requite too much thought but choosing a hammock is like being freed from the matrix - just how deep does this rabbit hole go? lol
As soon as I think I've settled on something, I come across a post that suggests a type of hammock I've never heard of and I'm off researching that (just to find another post while doing that research etc etc)!
Even this thread has turned me on to BIAS hammocks, which until now, I'd never heard of.
In the UK we only have DD hammocks, so I can't try any of these other fancy American ones with their never ending acronyms (WBB, HHUL, JRBBMBH, BIASWWDL, CJHNX-250). Maybe I should just suck it up and buy a DD and see how I fair ha ha!

I'd rather take the bed with the bad.
For me, with a uber tight budget and family to raise up- its definately the costs. Its a big mountain to climb to save up for the 'dream set-up'
#2 would be the fiddlin' it takes to get comfy some nights. But alas, here I am!
The people. You people...
Actually, the goodest.
