    Hi, from Arlington Texas

    Hello everyone!

I don't know what took me so long to join this forum. I've been using my hammock for... 3 years? I love it. Even when I'm cold I love it. I've taken it through some of the Ozarks, Mineral Wells, and putting around in my backyard. I intend to take it a great many other places. I've recently decided to make backpacking and camping a greater priority in my life.

I raise ducks and rabbits while finishing up my undergrad at UTA. I enjoy sticks that go bang, shooting my bow and would like to get into bowhunting. Providing my own food is of great importance to me (made a pact to not buy meat since the beginning of the year. I can only raise it or hunt it). I also garden in my lil backyard. Its great. The summer weather here isn't.

Anywho, I look forward to being a part of this community! Hopefully hang with some of you as well.

    InJoy
Team Venture (& my puppy Brock)

    If you get the reference,

Hey, we're neighbors. I'm from Springtown (about 40 miles NW of you) I was out at Mineral Wells last weekend for a trip with my youngest son. If you haven't been up to Texoma, you have to go. I did a trip report about it a couple of weeks ago. I think it's the best trail in the area. Here's a link:

I go out almost every weekend, so shoot me a pm if you ever want to try and do some hiking.
