    Auto Shade - which type?

I was at my local wally world and noticed there are two types of auto shades and I was wondering which one people used.

There is the standard "twist and fold" style that I can see that could be used as a heat reflector as well as a wind shield.

I also saw what could be described as foil covered bubblewrap. This would do the same thing as the other, but also provide another airspace, and could be used for a seat cushion. I'm not sure how durable it is, thought. The downside is that this type folds and does not compact down as far.

    Thoughts?

Actually, there aren't many folks using those that I know of. You may do just as well to go get a cheap blue pad from the Wallyworld camping section. Just my opinion of course.

There is a third style that has foam backing behind the reflective layer instead of the bubble wrap type. That's what they have at my local Wally's. I think it is preferred over the bubble type for insulation, and it might be a little less bulky too. I like mine a lot.

The foam backed reflector is best, their very warm for their money and weight.
