One more day of 70s before it looks like October around here.

I was going to spend the night in my hammock but we had some odd characters around (and, unfortunately, in) our house earlier, and my wife is justifiably paranoid about sleeping alone tonight.

    You beat me to it!

I've made about a half dozen Fronkey-inspired bugnets and just the other day I thought of making a sock in the same style (because they're so dang easy to make).

With the bugnet, you can really cinch the bottom hole down so there is no hole at all in the bottom. Can you do that with the sock too?

I'd love to see some video on this (or I could get my butt in gear and try to make one myself...).

I've considered making a sock using Fronkey's bugnet pattern but I prefer Pips TED bugnet pattern for a sock. Oddly, I prefer Fronkey's for the bugnet though.

I bought 8 yds of the 48" wide. Enough left over for a stuff sack or three.
The 48 does not close completely around the bottom, but I already have a UQ protector there. If I do another one (besides the orange polyester hunting version), I'd do it out of something around 62".
