    I started out with 5-9 miles per day. Lightened my pack and worked on a few muscle strengthening exercises and got up to 15-18 miles per day after about 2 years.

    I achieved my personal best yesterday too with 17 miles in one day. Still working to of 28.3 miles for the charity hike I'm participating in on August 27th
    Average speed so far is 3.0 mph.
