    Replacing UL BMBH Webbing

I switched out the stock suspension on the hammock for a tree-strap/dutch buckle and whoopie sling combination. I was wondering if anyone has replaced the remaining webbing with amsteel and if it reduces any weight. Thanks guys.

total weight without bug net and all the amsteel suspension is 15.5 oz minus the spreader bars. And works like a champ. Took about 2 hrs to do the complete "Professor Hammock" modifications and if you go to youtube or even here on the forum,,the Professor has a video on the mods and how to do them. Let me know if you can't find it and will dig it out for you.

Acer, thanks! I watched the professor hammock video a week or two ago and quickly felt like I was in over my head. I'll take another look and see if it's something I can handle if I take my time with it. I'll shoot you a pm if I have any trouble.
