Theres kind of a knack to getting in. I find its best to spread out the first foot of so of fabric on the edge, than sit in on this area you've spread, before laying in hammock quickly spread out the rest of the fabric.

I had not paid specific attention to spreading it out prior to entering the hammock.. I will certainly keep that in mind as I get used to using it, thank you
