Well, my original thought was to simply add another piece of shock cord. Use the original as designed to go to the hammock suspension. But then have a second one attached directly to the loop on the corner, run it over the ridge line and hook it to the other corner loop. A little biner would work.

Heck, I'll try that first. Already have all that stuff.

I use the Scum Suspension System. It sort of replicates the triangle but is super adjustable. I use smaller prusiks than Scum shows but otherwise its the same system... works great.
    Good luck,

So you put prusiks on the ridge line and clip the quilt to them?

Hppy, this is what I rtied, working great so far, and even easier to manage/adjust than my triangle thingies, I sewed 4 loops of grosgrainto the hem of my hammock, routed my shockcord thru 2 holes drilled in some tapered dowel pieces, and using them as a toggle... works awesome. Quick on and off too.

Take me a day or so for video, just packed up the kit for a trip, but below is a schematic for the toggles... the hole size is perfect for the 1/8" shock cord, and the 2 holes close together gives a bit of a bite into the cord. The ends are tapered and sanded to make insert into the loops easier.
