Long term every day Hammocking at Home

    Hey Guys,

I'm not sure were tu dump this, so I thought the General Talk would be suited best :P

I started Hammocking as a way to get the Lightest gear possible as I went to Kiwi-Land for a year as my Work&Travel Project 2015-2016.

In 11 Month I guess, I slept about 1/3 to 1/2 I my Hammock, sadly I didn't took notes but after I returned home I stayed with my parents and so bad back pain with in days.
Since August last year, I slept except 10-15 Days in my trusted Hammock held by the Portable Hammock Pipe Stand from Derek.
And I never have any issus O_o
Does anyone sleep Long term in Hammocks and had Problems afterwards with back pain?

I'm about to Move to a new Flat and think about what to do next :-/ not sure what I should do.
Giving the Hammocking and hope my Back will get used to a Bed again, Stay with the Hammock but switch to a different Hanging method, because I don't like the Pipe thing

Cheers I appreciate your input with my issues

99% of my sleeping is in a hammock for the past 4+ years. The pipe thing is still better than a bed. I wake up stiff and sore after a night in bed. Feel great after a night in the hammock.

Believe I am about 4yrs full time like Snr ^ and I say do anything you can to make the hammock work ...beds suck huge.
Lots of ways and means to string a hammock and you will get lots of ideas from here once you narrow down the space you want to hang in

I'll be at 3 years using a pipe stand & bridge hammock in July. The only time my back ever bothers me is when I sleep in my GF's $5,000 Tempurpedic bed.

I have been sleeping in a hammock instead of a bed for about 2 years now, and I have issues with beds whenever I'm forced to switch. I probably could get used to a bed again, but it would hurt. As long as it's not necessary, I'm sticking with my hammocks.

Just about a year and a half for my wife and I. Neither of us ever slept well in a bed, but didn't realize just how bad it was till we tried hammocks. With our various ailments, hammocks aren't perfect either, but it's the closest we've come. We keep experimenting to find the ideal setup for us though.

3 yrs full time for me. Sleeping in a bed now is terrible.
Definitely try to stick with the hammock if u can. I have mine strung up with eye bolts but realize alot of people in apartments cant do that. I also have a Hammeck stand which I setup in the basement from time to time. Works great!
Why dont u like the pipe stand?
