How should I hang my ENO in Afghanistan?

    Hey all,

I'm presently overseas with the military, and brought my ENO hammock with me. It was a gift, but I've only recently really started to read into hammock camping and my different options for when I get back.

I'm having trouble sifting through the myriad of options for suspending my hammock, and want to set myself up early for future success. Can someone recommend a system that will work on a scaffolding-like structure here, but I can also use stateside for camping in the woods? I may swap the ENO for a DIY when I get back, and intend to build my system layer by layer with full modularity. I have no dreams of "ultralight hiking" more like "moderately light hiking".

    Thank you,
    -Mike

Just about any system can be utilized. It's just a matter of personal decision - and how far apart the supports are, but even that can be worked around.

You almost just have to pick one. There's really not a "best."

Send a pic of the "scaffolding" if possible, please. May help in coming up with suggestions.

    (OPSEC!)

But generally in a location that looks visually uninteresting and un-targetlike ;-)
