Every place I've hung my hammock in North Ga has been great. I like Raven Cliff and the Dukes Creek area, and the area around the Chattooga River is very good. I also like Swallow Creek/Blue Hole Falls area. I'll be going to the Conasauga River Trail in a couple of weeks - I'm sure that'll be my next favorite :-)

Welcome from the upstate of SC.
Keep movin', keep believing and enjoy the journey!
I'm a big fan of the Benton Mackaye Trail, Panther Creek Falls in Habersham county(that one is straight up 985, super easy to get to), Yonah Mountain(my avatar is me camped out on the face of it)
You could also just go to georgiatrails.com It has a pretty good list but doesn't have White county. The stuff it lists for White county is actually for somewhere else.

Welcome to HF. I hail from northeast georgia. Seems like we have a lot of people around the North Ga area. A group hang would be sweet.
Edit: I like brasstown falls in SC, right outside of clayton.

I camped up at Raven Cliff falls this past weekend. Beautiful weather. However, my wife "made me" sleep in the tent. (When it comes between the hammock and my wife, my wife wins every time). So, my daughter took over my hammock for a couple of nights. I think I have another converted hammock hanger in the family.
Welcome! I am new as well, however, I've been using a WBBB for about a year and love it. Got a Hammock Gear 40 deg UQ and it mates perfectly.
Welcome from Newnan but formerly Lilburn.
