Well, I was suppose to go fishing with the brother in law this weekend. Then onto Chickasaw State Park next week while working out of town.
The wind cancelled the fishing trip, so I'm headed out today to have a few days of just camping with no work involved.Anyone in the area, feel free to swing on by. It's usually just a couple of sites being used. I'll be setting up in the tent section mid-afternoon.(depending on how long I stay at Gander and Dicks and Outdoor Inc.)
OMG!I did say it's not "usually" crowded. For some reason I totally forgot it's fall break in this county. I ended up heading to the RV section. That's how bad it was. The only sites left were pretty much bare (as far as trees go)
To be fair, I did set up a small popup for a "base camp" to keep my stuff in. I am over here to work this week and camping is just a bonus when I do come over. I was getting set up when I noticed the group next to me had a fire with as much wood on it as I brought for the entire week. On top of that one of the women in the group said "I thought you were going to build a big fire" I about laughed out loud. Since I'm way outnumbered, I figure I'll hold my piece. I'm probably going to call it a day once it gets dark. That way I can get up early while everyone else is sleeping in.
I pray that everyone has to go back to work Monday.
