I understand that hammock camping is an end in itself, another form of camping out, which is its own world of wonders. My time in a hammock until the last few weeks was spent napping and reading on camping trips with my children.
But camping, including hammock camping, is also antecedent to other activities like hunting and fishing.
Out of curiosity, what other activities are pursued by members of the forum, which your hammock serves? Photography? Outdoor cooking? Edible wild plants? Bird watching? Travel?
Because of an injury I have to switch to UL gear and have immediately seen the advantage of UL and hammock camping for emergency use and Christian preparedness. How many carry your gear all the time, say in your car or truck?
