does anybody know the absolute cheapest place to obtain some flexible tent poles that I can use to build an arch to support the tarp? Walmart sells replacement Coleman poles, but it is $10 for about 8 feet worth of them, and some of my ideas could use significantly more than 8 feet worth.
The ingenuity of HF members is awesome. Great work there Mustardman. On the poles for the tarp, try garage sales for old dome tents.
