Can you give me dimensions for your dogbone pillow? I was going to make a pillow tonight (tired of using a stuff sack for fulltiming indoors), but your idea is a whole lot better!

Impressive Injecting! That's quite an output on short notice. Hope you and your son enjoy it immensely!
I give this thread .My post count isn't high enough to view the thread about the hat plans.I'm interested in making one.I wear itchy noggin socks and boggins.
Nothing to see here. Keep moving.
Thanks everyone for the support!
I sent Fish <>< a pm with the pattern for the Dogbone pillow. Since it comes from a non hammock related site I'm not sure if I should place the hyperlink here, but I will pm anyone who wants to make one of their own.

Second on the request for link to hat design.
Also, what do you use to keep the doors in the tarp together, Velcro or something else?

pm's sent to those that requested for the dog bone.
I used Raiffnuke's plans for the hat, but I made the three separate pockets and then did most of the quilting to them individually before joining. I found that I could get straighter quilting that way. His plans can be found at http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=52970
For the doors on the tarp, I do use 1/2 inch Velcro the entire length which matched the width of my bias tape. I do also have grosgrain ties on the bottom of each door that I can tie to keep the Velcro from tearing open at the base. I also have a small loop that I can attach some rope to stake them to the ground if I need.
The doors are just the still attached fabric from making a hex tarp. rather than cutting off these ends, I just folded them over and bias taped my edge, at two points on each side I made a small slit (3/8") at the seam line, I slid a longer piece of grosgrain through the slit 1/2 way and then sewed it all together inside the bias tape. This gave me tie offs to use when I don't want the doors open.

Can I get added to the list for the dog bone plans? It looks very comfy.
Wow, VERY NICE WORK! It all looks great, and I like your go-get-it attitude.
