I can see you in a canoe, standing up, in the middle of a lake, juggling oars and balancing one on your chin! CHILLI!! Yes! Shag nasties, they don’t sound too good, I don’t think I’d like any of them either. That map showed that there’s some great walking to be done in that area! I’d like to do the walk around the lake too, I hope you get to do it one day! Thanks for the videos Mr Shug and I hope you get back out on them there trails pretty soon!

Great videos, Shug. It's nice to see that even the Shugmeister gets a little lost on occasion. Now I don't feel so bad.

I did have a few white gnats as chili spice.

Thanks for taking us along on the adventure. The fall colours were great. I liked the " Liquid Chilli. "
Beautiful scenery. That is pretty much how I clean my pots when I cook in them.
    The meat-drink was satisfying)))))

I really shot a lot of video.....had so much footage that it became a series.

Makes me want to pitch all my various vessels I have accumulated over the years and just start laying in a hillbilly "patina" into a cheap, light, dentable pot! You have some great memories stored in that thing - no doubt about it....

    Cheers!

Funny....I just bought a SnowPeak 900 Ti pot but took the hillbilly. Felt likeI was ditching an ol' buddy.

I have always claimed to "be no expert"....I just go and pan for battle. You can practice the trek but have to deal with realities as they happen. Made the trip fun and checked out a terrific trail.
The water is not really dirty but MN has a lot of tannen in the water.

I do prefer a walk to a paddle. No shade on a lake)))))))

I have never made the claim of infallibility. Never would have found that terrific trail if I had not of got over-excited and and sprang forth with reckless abandon. Best part of the trip in retrospect.

That creepy little smiling ridgeline organizer at 0:17 makes me laugh. Now that you pointed it out that is all I see when you are sitting there talking. Glad your busy season is over. Hope you stay healthy and have some fun out there.

Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
