Good and sweet the brown water.....
Nice to have a trail with some head-scratching once in a while. Sharpened some skills for me.
Even got the video on MPR MN News online site. They picked it up from a tweet from ShadowAlpha on some gear I mentioned. Kinda cool......http://mntoday.mprnews.org/regions/arrowhead/

Thanks for sharing this series with us Shug. Must've been great fun after all those months w/o a solo. Hope the knee is better soon.

I really enjoyed this mini-series! I haven't had time to get out in the woods for an overnighter since June, so living it through your video was great.

I was taught to clean pots like that while backpacking with my old Boy Scout Troop. I thought we were the only people in the woods who were out there drinking our own dishwater. People used to look at me like I was crazy when I would come back from trips and tell stories like that, but they didn't understand all of the fun that went along with hiking out into the deep woods.

I think tossing the food-water is just gonna heighten the chance of beasts coming into camp so slurp we do.
Lots have asked me so pot cleaning must be a mystery. I thankee.

Came back from vacation Monday and trudged into work all sad because it was my first day back. I click on YouTube...and there are 4 Shug videos, reporting from the piney woods, waiting for me. Definitely made my Monday more tolerable.

    Thanks Shug!

    Cheers!

A nice walk in the woods with Shug! Glad to see another video show-up! Motivates me to make some time, find my camera, and get out there to make a few! The Texas State Fair Chili caught my eye, too - will definitely be ordering some of that along with some Hawk's Vittles, and my own home-dehydrated concoctions based on some of Babelfish 5's recipes. After all, that's why we all go in the Piney Woods, right? To be able to eat things the wife would never even allow in the house! LOL!

Thanks for another great one, Shug!
