Welcome to the forums from a former South Carolinian!
Welcome from Clemson!
Welcome to HF from Mass.
Oh WOW!Thanks for the warm welcome.I was worried I was one of two in SC that was weird and thought hammocks were cool.Glad to know I'm not the only one.
I added myself to the location spread sheet. How is that used or help to the forum?
BTW,I had hammock overload beginning three days ago.
Of course I have watched all of Shug's vids.Oh wait,no one has mentioned that yet. I still haven't figured out which one of his multiple personalities I like best. Oh yeah,I wanna camp with that guy.
Welcome from the upstate.
Keep movin', keep believing and enjoy the journey!
Be sure to check out the meet ups forum. The idea in SC is to organize about a hang a month...or so we'd like to. Last weekend we were at Parson's Mountain.
I used to be a somebody, now I just camp.
Ok.That makes a lot of sense.Good idear.Come on into SC/NC.I live very close to the SC/NC state line and spend most of my time in Hendersonville,Brevard,or south Asheville.
I will do that.It will be spring before I can get away from home.I have a moto ride planned in NC thru VA if nothing happens.I'd like to have a hammock for that ride. Most will be thru the mountains with few cleared camp grounds.I think it'd be easier to hang than scratch out a place for a tent.I'll be saving the tent for the family outings.
