I am seriously considering this quilt but wanted to know what temp differences are between the 800 fill and the 900 down fill? Thanks!

I have always been told that there are no temp differences, 900 fill just weighs less. Let's see what the guru's weigh in with.

Yes the 900 fill just weigh less.

    With Jacks-r-better, a 40* quilt with 800 fill will weigh 15oz (approx.)
The same quilt with 900 fill will weigh an ounce or so less to still be at 40*

With a company like Feathered Friends when you upgrade to 900 fill from 850 they will put the same weight of down in so the sleeping bag will weigh the same but because it is 900 fill it will take you to lower temperatures.

I have the Shenandoah and have used it as a TQ and as an UQ, its very versatile!

Big fan of the HRQ and the Jack's in general. Mine is the 800 fill.
