Who makes a down under quilt? I have been looking to pick one up so I can go out this winter.

Also, Has anyone made a hammock containing down, to basically combine the 2?

yes, for a while i have imagined the perfect hammock with a down UQ integrated into it and only needing the down exactly where you lay on the diagonal!!
weight savings galore..!!

Of course i think the idea has been played around with before but no prototypes yet.

Lots of us vendors make down under quilts. Us, Warbonnet, Te-Wa, Hammock Gear, underground, jacks are better and I am sure a few others.

There have been a few DIY folks make insulated hammocks but nothing commercially. The trick is that each person is a different size and shape making interchangeable insulation options much more vesitale for the mass market. It also lets you change quilts depending on season and weather conditions and only needing to change quilts rather than hammock and all. One hammock may be all some folks have but they may own 3 or more quilt sets.
