A Big Thank You to "hangnout" and "2Sticks" !

I would like to send a Big Thank You to "hangnout" and "2Sticks" for hooking my Son "CJ7" up with a sweet Hammock setup !

I got a call at work today that a package had arrived at the house and I advised my Wife not to open it until I got home. I had my Son sit with me on the couch and explained to him a very nice young energetic outdoor enthusiast wanted to help him out on his way to outdoor Hangin' adventures and sent him a surprise. I cut the tape and handed him the box and a big smile came across his face as he pulled out stuff sack. I said let me go out in the garage and get something we will need to use with what's in the sack. We went out on the back patio and I let him open it up and the look of amazement and wonder came across him. I set up the hammock and he was jumping for joy !!! I explained to him the correct way to enter and exit the hammock along with kicking his boots off before he fully entered. Next I explained to him how to lay diagonal to get a proper lay. It took a crow bar, winch line and some dynamite to extract him out after 30 minutes. He said "Daddy I want to lay in it all night and please Thank the nice people who sent me the hammock" . We will give it a full test run this weekend at the "Cub and Family" campout at Camp Boxwell Boy Scout Reservation along with a trip report.

    Here's some pics

Thank You again "hangnout" and "2Sticks" !!!

You signature line reads, " Leave no trace."
But in this case, Hangnout & his daughter have left a mighty fine trace!

    They are good people!
Afoot and light-hearted, I take to the open road,
Healthy, free, the world before me,

The grin says it all! Way to go 2sticks & Hangnout.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.
